At lunchtime Monkey and Bear stopped being friends.

All because of two gingernut cookies.

‘Those cookies are mine,’ said Monkey

‘No! They’re not,’ said Bear

‘Whatever,’ shouted Monkey and he grabbed the plate.

Monkey threw his comb, sunglasses, scarf and cookies into his saucepan.

‘Hey!’ cried Bear ‘Where are you going?

I’m going to travel the world and have ADVENTURES.’ Said Monkey

‘But you can’t go without me,’ cried Bear.

‘Yes, I can,’ said Monkey.
